Hampden-Sydney Swimming rolled over Gallaudet 141-59 on Saturday afternoon

  • The 200 yard medley relay team of Hudson Elmore, John Dickerson, Conor O'Heir, and Brandon Koch took first place at 1:48.87, narrowly outswimming teammates Tate Socha, Brady Updike, Stewart Lawrence, and Keifer Pfister at 1:54.72
  • Pfister and Adrian Cothren finished 1-2 in the 1000 yard freestyle with respective times of 12:14.35 and 12:51.79
  • Carter Cole finished just 0.9 seconds in the 200 yard freestyle to place second at 1:57.78
  • Koch and Socha took the top two spots in the 50 yard freestyle, clocking in at 24.08 and 25.44
  • Cole followed with a second place finish in the 200 yard IM at 2:13.78
  • Elmore clocked in at 56.62 in the 100 yard butterfly to take the gold
  • Koch posted a win in the 100 yard freestyle, checking in at 52.70
  • Cole continued his outstanding day, taking top honors in the 100 yard backstroke at 59.79
  • Elmore took home first place in the 500 yard freestyle, hitting the stopping block at 5:26.19, defeating the second place finisher by well over 30 seconds
  • Dickerson placed second with a time of 1:09.56 in the 100 yard breaststroke
  • The Tigers took the top two 400 yard freestyle relay spots. Robert Brown, Pfister, O'Heir, and Lawrence were tops at 3:43.59 while Cothren, Christopher Mercer, Hunter Keiser, and Wade Bredin took second in 4:17.62
