Hampden-Sydney Soccer Wins Over Southern Virginia, 4-1 The Hampden-Sydney soccer team scored a pair of goals in both the first and second half to pull away for a 4-1 win over Southern Virginia Saturday afternoon on the road. Senior Jacob Mann/Mebane, N.C. scored his first two goals of the season in the win. Senior Cole Burton/Haw River, N.C. would score what would be the game winner in the 28th minute off a pass from Mann.

Hampden-Sydney Soccer Falls In Overtime To Averett After a lengthy weather delay at the beginning of the second half, the Hampden-Sydney soccer team played through 90 minutes of scoreless action against Averett. However, the Cougars were able to score just 36 seconds into overtime to come away with a 1-0 win.
