Hampden-Sydney Lacrosse has been ranked 19th in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Rankings.
Hampden-Sydney is coming off a 2017 season that saw the Tigers win the ODAC Championship while also advancing to the NCAA Tournament Third Round. The Hampden-Sydney coaching staff was named the IMLCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year as they helped guide the Tigers to a record-setting 16-win season.
Most notably back in the mix for Hampden-Sydney is Third-Team All-American Hunter Brown, Honorable Mention All-American Ian Levin, IMLCA Honorable Mention All-Region honoree Kent Henry, Second-Team All-ODAC selection Chandler Shaheen, and ODAC All-Tournament Team pick Nick Arcuri.
H-SC is one of four ODAC team in the poll, joining #10 Lynchburg, #18 Roanoke, and #22 Washington and Lee. The Tigers will also battle against #1 Salisbury and #8 Cabrini.
Hampden-Sydney opens the season at #1 ranked and reigning national champion Salisbury University on February 4 at 12 pm.
