HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-Hampden-Sydney returns home and will look to return to the win column, as the Tigers host Guilford College on Hall of Fame Weekend. Prior to the game, Bryan Duquette '00 (tennis), Chris Lucas '03 (lacrosse), Jeff Monroe '04 (basketball), and Conrad Singh '04 (football) will be inducted as the 27th Hall of Fame class.
Saturday's game could be an exciting shootout, with the Tigers and Quakers leading the ODAC in every offensive category, including scoring with a combined 82.4 points-per-game. The match up has been a high scoring affair in the past, with the Tigers putting up at least 40 points 11 times since 2000, including 52 last year and 68 in 2012 - the last time these two met at Everett Stadium.
With just two games remaining in the season, this game is crucial towards crowning an ODAC Champion on November 15. The Tigers, ranked ninth in the South Region, still control their own destiny in becoming back-to-back champs despite falling their last time out. Emory & Henry and today's opponent, Guilford, also have just one conference loss and are major players in the title hunt.
