#25 Tigers Return Home for Key ODAC Bout with Wasps

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-Hampden-Sydney will return home this Saturday for the first time in almost a month, hosting the Wasps of Emory & Henry. Saturday's match up is a crucial ODAC match up, with these two teams sitting atop the conference at 2-0. The Tigers, who have moved back into the Top-25 after a 55-32 win over Washington & Lee, are on a four-game winning streak. The Wasps, who are receiving votes in the Top-25 for the first time this season, are the only team left in the conference with a perfect overall record at 5-0. 

Offensively, the Tigers have hit their stride, averaging 52.0 points-per-game in their wins, and quarterback Nash Nance (Calhoun, GA/Tennessee) was recently named the ODAC Offensive Player of the Week after accounting for six touchdowns (3 pass; 2 rush; 1 rec) and 432 yards of offense. 

The Wasps have used a balanced offense of 254.6 passing yards and 198.4 rushing yards-per-game to post an average of 34.2 points each week. 

Emory & Henry owns a 36-34 advantage in the overall series, but the Tigers have bested the Wasps in 11 of the last 12 meetings.
