Prizzia Named First Team Preseason All-American

MINNEAPOLIS, MN-Senior place kicker David Prizzia (Jacksonville, FL/Episcopal) has just been named a First Team Preseason All-American by Prizzia is the second Tiger this preseason to earn the honor as quarterback Travis Lane (Richmond, VA/Mills Godwin) earned Honorable Mention honors from the Consensus Draft Services.

Prizzia is coming off of his best season in which he garnered First Team All-ODAC, All-Region, Second Team All-State and Third Team All-American accolades. The Jacksonville native tied the program record for highest PAT conversion percentage connecting on every one of his 43 attempts. He is tied with Jimmy Hondroulis, who went 33-for-33 in 1986.

He finished second on the team and in scoring with 67 points - which was also good for third in the ODAC in scoring for kickers. Prizzia also connected on 8-of-11 field goal attempts, including a career-high 45 yarder.
