Peter Carpenter is in his first year as the tight ends coach at Hampden-Sydney during 2019. He previously served as an intern/assistant coach at King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania since 2017.

Carpenter helped coach running backs, linebackers and defensive ends at King’s, working closely with the head coach as well as both the offensive and defensive coordinators. He was involved with recruiting for the Monarchs, as well.
Carpenter was a four-year member of the football team at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania from 2013-16 where he played linebacker. He served as an assistant coach at his high school alma mater, Downingtown East, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania during 2015-16, where he assisted with the linebackers on the varsity team and was an assistant coach on the freshmen team. Carpenter was involved with summer workouts and junior varsity games, as well.
A native of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in applied economics from Ursinus in 2017.
