Hampden-Sydney Tennis opened their season with a 6-3 win over NCAA Division II school University of the Sciences in Orlando, FL.

  • William Driskill and Clark Cummings tag-teamed to take an 8-4 decision at the #2 flight
  • Matthew Moody and Michael Moody picked up a 9-7 victory at the #1 spot
  • Burns put the Tigers ahead 4-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the #6 singles flight
  • Cummings would clinch the victory for H-SC with a 6-2, 7-5 W at the #5 position
  • Matthew Moody would go on to pick up the Tigers sixth point with a three-set victory at #1, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7
