George and Williamson Tabbed First-Team All-ODAC
SALEM, VA - Harrison George (Raleigh, NC/Leesville Road) and Khobi Williamson (Norfolk, VA/Maury) were named First-Team All-ODAC Thursday night at the annual ODAC Men's Basketball Tournament Banquet at the Salem Civic Center.
George earned First-Team honors for the third consecutive season making him just the third Tiger to earn First-Team All-ODAC in three straight seasons, joining the likes of TJ Grimes '00 and Russell Turner '92. George is averaging 16.3 points, good for fourth in the conference, and also ranks second in the league in field goals made (172) and field goal percentage (60.8%). In ODAC only games, he also ranked eighth in steals and ninth in rebounds per game. Nationally, George checks in at 15th in field goal percentage. Among active players, George is eighth in Division III in career points (1,742) and fourth in field goals made (672). Additionally, he is one of only 11 players in D3 with 1,500 points and 600 rebounds.
Williamson continued his immense year-to-year improvement as a junior en route to earning First-Team honors after being named Third-Team All-ODAC a season ago. This year in ODAC only games, Williamson is fourth in the ODAC in points per game (16.1), sixth in rebounds per game (7.7), first in both field goal percentage (66.2%) and free throw percentage (87.5), while also ranking fourth in field goals made (92). On the national stage, Williamson is second in the country in field goal percentage for the season at 66.3%. Additionally, his career field goal percentage of 63.2% is fourth best among active D3 players and ninth in the entire NCAA.
