HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-Hampden-Sydney (21-3, 13-2 ODAC) will look to rebound back into the win column and finish its regular season strong as the team faces the Wasps of Emory & Henry (4-19, 2-13 ODAC) in the King Center on Saturday afternoon. The match up will mark the regular season finale, and with a 13-2 conference mark, the Tigers are guaranteed either the number one or two seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament.
The Tigers cruised to a 98-64 in the two teams' first meeting in Fleet Gymnasium to open up ODAC play this season. Senior Harrison George (Raleigh, NC/Leesville Road) paced the Tigers with 20 points on 9-of-12 accuracy, while Emory & Henry's Myles Turner poured in a game-high 22 points.
Emory & Henry has notched two conference wins this season, downing Shenandoah 66-56 and beating Bridgewater 70-65 but are currently on a six-game skid. At home, this season, the Wasps post a 3-8 record.
The Tigers have been successful on the road this year, posting an 8-2 mark while winning their last five consecutive away games.
