FOREST, VA - Khobi Williamson was named the ODAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, February 4.
In two wins against Lynchburg College and at Washington & Lee, Williamson averaged 24.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while going 20-26 (76.9%) from the field and 8-8 (100%) from the free throw line.
On Wednesday at home against Lynchburg, Williamson posted 18 points, nine rebounds, and one block. He converted seven of his 11 field goal attempts while going a perfect 4-4 from the foul line. On the road at W&L on Saturday, Williamson poured in a career-high 30 points along with 12 boards and two rejections. He finished on 13-of-15 shot attempts and went 4-4 from the charity stripe again.
For the season, Williamson is averaging 15.2 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 65.9% from the floor and 76.2% at the free throw line. He ranks fourth in the ODAC in made field goals, first in field goal percentage, eighth in free throw percentage, seventh in points per game, and second in points per 40 minutes. Additionally, Williamson is fourth in the nation in field goal percentage.
