HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-With the best record through 16 games since 2003-04, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers (14-2, 6-1 ODAC) hit the road for a two game stretch while looking to extend their win streak to four. The road trip will start with a Saturday night date against the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.
Hampden-Sydney is fresh off a 70-60 victory over arch-rival Randolph-Macon College. The Royals, currently on a two-game skid, stand at 10-6 overall and 3-4 in ODAC play. They have lost back-to-back games against Guilford (77-66) and Virginia Wesleyan (60-55).
The last time these two teams met, the Tigers took a 108-65 victory in Fleet Gymnasium on November 30, 2011. The two teams did not meet in Harrisonburg that season; the last time they squared off in Yoder Arena was December 1, 2010 - the Royals took a 79-63 decision.
