Free Admission to Wednesday's Hoops Game Against R-MC

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-The Hampden-Sydney basketball will look to extend its win streak to three and its Fleet Gymnasium win streak to 15 this Wednesday evening as it hosts arch-rival Randolph-Macon College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm and admission to the game is free.

Hampden-Sydney has won two of its three games this month and is fresh off of a 61-41 win over ODAC-foe Washington & Lee on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Greg Lewis (Mechanicsville, VA/Hanover) paced the Tigers with 13 points while senior Harrison George (Raleigh, NC/Leesville Road) and Khobi Williamson (Norfolk, VA/Maury) each notched ten points.

Randolph-Macon, standing at 8-7 overall and 3-3 in ODAC play, has posted a 2-2 record to start 2013 and fell in its last outing 66-62 to Bridgewater in Ashland.

The last time these two teams met, Hampden-Sydney claimed a 79-71 victory in Fleet Gymnasium in the 2011-12 regular season finale.
