2010-11: Ward will likely step in this season as the Tigers' starting point guard. A lightning quick player, Ward can blow by defenders and either get to the rim or dish to an open teammate. Ward is a great passer and excels in the open court and in transition. A solid on-ball defender, Ward has the quickness and knowledge to pester opposing guards. A natural leader, Ward will direct the team on the court and be an ideal teammate.

2009-10: Ward made an immediate impact as a freshman, playing in all 26 games while starting in five. Was sixth on the team scoring 5.4 points-per-game while tallying 1.7 assists-per-game. Scored in double-digits twice, with 10 points against North Carolina Wesleyan and a career-high 14 points over Emory & Henry.
