2010-11: A true point guard, Corrigan has the ability to break down opponents and run the offense. Will look to see an improved role as a sophomore. Has a high basketball IQ and shows the knowledge to make the right plays. A good ball handler, he is able to take care of the ball and limit turnovers. Also a great passer with the ability to make others around him better. Corrigan can also knock down the open jumper.
2009-10: Corrigan appeared in 21 games as a freshman, averaging 6.3 minutes-per-game. Shot 35.7% from the floor making five of his 14 attempts. Was 50% from the free throw line going 3-gor-6. Pulled down 12 rebounds while dishing out 15 assists. Averaged 0.6 points-per-game. Scored a career-high four points against Eastern Mennonite. Recorded a career-high five assists against John Jay.
High School/AAU Career: Attended Collegiate School in Richmond, VA where he played basketball, lacrosse, and football. Was named basketball team MVP and best defensive player. Averaged 10 points, six assists, five rebounds, and four steals per game. Also was named all-prep and second team all-state as a linebacker in football. Played AAU for Team Richmond and East Coast Fusion.
Personal: Born March 29, 1991. Son of David '79 and Jean Corrigan. Has two siblings, Conor (21), and Jack (14). Father David was a three-year letterwinner for the Hampden-Sydney basketball team from 1976-79.
