2010-11: Jessee is one of the best pure shooters on the Tiger roster and will resume his role as one of the top scoring options. Able to stretch defenses with his unlimited range and ability to get his shot off at any time. Also established himself last season as a great distributor making his teammates better. Got bigger in the offseason and returns a stronger, improved defender. Has the potential to become one of the great scorers in school history.
2009-10: Jessee continued his solid play into his sophomore year finishing third on the team in scoring with 10.5 points-per-game. Has scored 570 points in two seasons. Appeared in all 26 games while starting in 21. Led the team in scoring five times, including a season-high 20 points against North Carolina Wesleyan. Shot a team-high 84.9% from the free throw line making 45 of his 53 attempts. Also solid from beyond the arc hitting 54 of 146 threes (37.0%). From the floor, connected on 87 of his 225 attempts for 38.7% accuracy. Dished out 60 assists (second on team) averaging 2.3 per game. Tallied a career-high seven assists against Randolph College. Also pulled down 2.3 rebounds-per-game. Fourth on the team in steals with 18.
2008-09: Jessee had a breakout freshman season playing in all 28 games while starting in six. Was second on the team in scoring with 10.6 points-per-outing. Jessee showed his ability to score and consistency knocking down 42 percent of his field goals and just shy of 40 percent of his three point attempts. Led the Tigers in scoring in eight games, including a career-high 23 points against Virginia Wesleyan. Dished out five assists while scoring 18 points against Emory & Henry. Also grabbed five rebounds against Randolph-Macon.
High School/AAU Career: Three-year varsity player under Ron Carr, finishing up his career at Cosby High School in Midlothian, Virginia. Averaged 19.0 points and five assists-per-game in his senior season, when he was named first team all-district and second team all-region. Also excelled on the soccer pitch where he played three seasons, scoring over 20 goals in his senior year. Named first team all-district, first team all-region and second team all-state as a soccer standout.
