Ferrell Earns AFCA All-America Honors

Will Ferrell

WACO, TX-Junior left tackle Will Ferrell (Blythewood, SC/Blythewood) was honored by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) as he was one of 25 players selected to the AFCA All-America team. Ferrell has already earned First Team All-ODAC, Third Team All-South Region (, and Offensive Lineman of the Year (TD Club of Richmond) honors.

The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves.

Ferrell, a junior captain, was the anchor to the Tigers' offensive line and helped the team lead the conference in both scoring (36.5 ppg) and passing offense (271.8 pypg), and finish second in total offense (429.6 ypg).
