Tigers Remain on the Road to Face ODAC-Rival Bridgewater

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-Bridgewater and Hampden-Sydney meet for the 69th time on Saturday in a series that began in 1929. The two squads have combined to win eight of the past 11 ODAC titles.

The Tigers currently own a five-game winning streak against the Eagles with Bridgewater's last with over Hampden-Sydney coming on the grass at Jopson Field in 2006 by a 31-13 score. Though Hampden-Sydney holds a five-game streak and a 55-13 edge overall in the series, the Eagles were winners of eight straight from 1999-2006. Hampden-Sydney reigned supreme last season at Everett Stadium in a 28-14 victory.

Bridgewater currently stands as the lone undefeated team in the ODAC at 4-0 while the Tigers are on a two-game skid after starting the season 2-0.
