Roanoke's Brian Kluge led off the game with a single and scored the Maroons' lone run of the game.

The Maroons held that 1-0 lead until the seventh inning, when the Tigers strung together four hits and two walks to drive three runs across the plate. Nathan Chamberlin (Chesterfield, VA/Virginia Wesleyan) led off the inning with a single was later driven in on a Jack Elliott (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) RBI-single. Patrick Kuhns (Stafford, VA/North Stafford) then followed that up with an RBI-single that scored Andrew Tucker (Fincastle, VA/James River). Elliott later scored the insurance run on a Lewis RBI.

Tucker tallied a game-high three hits while Hamlett recorded two.
