A Message from Coach Kinne
Our program continues to build upon the successes we have achieved
in past years, and we continue to move forward in solidifying our
status as one of the stronger programs in the ODAC and in the
region. For several years we have won over 20 games and placed
players on All-ODAC teams. Our recruiting classes continue to grow
in numbers and capabilities, further strengthening the outlook of
our program.
Our recent successes on the field are largely due to the
commitment of our players, my staff, and the H-SC community.
However, due to your support, both financially and otherwise, I am
seeing an even greater resurgence in the overall synergies of our
program. Thanks to the Big Hitters Club, our players feel more
connected to the history of this program, and the financial support
of the program by the Club is already making a difference in what
we as a staff are able to provide for the team. The dollars raised
by the Club go directly towards supporting our ongoing operation in
terms of purchasing equipment, maintaining the field, and allowing
our players to get exposure to some of the other top programs in
the region by helping to defray travel costs.
If you have not donated to the Big Hitters Club in the past, I ask
that you consider making a donation this year. If you have given
previously to the Club of to the program through other means, I
want to thank you again for your support and hope that you will
continue to support us in the future. However, I ask that your
donation not be viewed as an alternative to your Annual Fund gift,
which supports general College needs.
Finally, to all alumni and friends of the baseball program, thank
you for your loyalty and support and respectfully ask for your
continued support in the future.
